For the purposes of this Notice of the Right to Cancel, the following words shall have the following meanings:

 

a) "The Company" shall mean Cherokee Consulting Ltd trading as Andy The Famous Plumber.

b) "The Customer" shall mean the person or organisation for whom The Company agrees to carry out works and/or supply materials.

c) "The Contract" shall mean the estimate/quotation having been submitted by The Company and agreed by the Customer.

CUSTOMER CANCELLATION RIGHTS

You (the Customer) have the right to cancel the contract if you wish. This right can be exercised by delivering, or sending (including by electronic mail) a cancellation notice to the Company any time within the period of seven working days after the day on which the contract is agreed.

Accordingly, we will not start work under the Contract until after the cancellation period has expired unless you tell us to “start work now” (click here for “start work now” form). 

If you have agreed in writing that work will commence before the seven-day cancellation period expires, and you subsequently cancel in accordance with your rights, you are advised that reasonable payment may be due for any work carried out. 
The notice of cancellation is deemed to be served as soon as it is posted or sent, or, in the case of an electronic communication from the day it is sent. 
If there is a related credit agreement in relation to this Contract it will be automatically cancelled if the contract for goods or services is cancelled.

You may use the cancellation form provided here if you wish but you do not have to do so.
